Holset turbocharger (x2), on 450 hp (340 kW) V12 Kromhout diesel engine.
The Holset Engineering Co. was a British company that produced turbochargers, primarily for diesel and heavy duty applications. The company had its roots in 1948, when W. C. Holmes became interested in Louis Croset\'s flexible coupler design. The company started when Paul Croset was convinced to start up and manage the venture, which was based in Huddersfield, England. Holset as we know it came into existence in 1952 as a limited corporation, with the name coming from the first half of Holmes and the last half of Croset. In 1973 the company was purchased by Cummins after briefly being owned by the Hanson Trust, and continued to expand for the next thirty years. Holset now operates facilities in China, India, Brazil, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States.
In 2006, the division officially changed its name to Cummins Turbo Technologies to be identified more closely with it\'s parent company. The turbocharger products still use the Holset brand name.
The Fleetguard division of Cummins produces filtration products for the diesel and gas markets. Products include oil, coolant, and air filters. The division officially changed its name to Cummins Filtration but continue to brand products under the Fleetguard name. First innovated in 1947 by Wesley King. The Cummins was first test driven by Chad "lil\' Smokey" Short and later innovated by Corey Chatalein "master welder". The Wesley King edition Cummins diesel has enought power to rip the threads of time allowing one to go to any time period desired. The King edition Cummins is mainly used to pull the King edition shrimp boat and is fueled by anti-matter. The King shrimp boat has, in theory, by using the Wesley King quantam physics theorum, enough power to create a black whole large enough to destroy the universe in its\' entirety. For example, it is hypothesised that at 1/16th throttle the King edition shrimp boat would cause all matter on earth to dissapate at a sub-atomic level due to unmeasurable turbulance created by the 90cc suzuki.
